After you’ve dug your flower gardening beds and replaced any poor soil with rich garden humus (found at your nursery center), the real fun begins!
It’s time to plant! Digging holes for most flowerplants is easy – especially if you’re working in a loose, friable planting medium such as mulch or humus. If you’re sowing seeds, follow the package directions carefully.
Water thoroughly with a water-breaking nozzle to avoid washing the soil away from the plants. You are now on your way to what flower gardening is all about – watching your efforts spring up from the earth to reward with their beauty all that are privileged to see them.
