Dear Kevin,
\"bridge page\". also known as a doorway page . A doorway page is a web page full of keyword-rich copy that doesn\'t deliver any useful information on it other than a link into the site, and whose sole purpose is to be fed to the search engines.
But i don\'t confirm about dead pages,i think that page those pages are called which have # o pagerank.

Hi,
Sorry kavin I only know about Bridge page That is:
Webmasters are sometimes told to submit \"bridge\" pages or \"doorway\" pages to search engines to improve their traffic. Doorway pages are created to do well for particular phrases. They are also known as portal pages, jump pages, gateway pages, entry pages, and by other names as well.
It may be same but i m not cinfirm.
