Been so busy with my home business during the past two years had zero time to keep up with Internet News, etc... and so on. Heard about Google Adsense way back. I can even remember them sending emails and giving me free money to try them and open an account. Too busy running my cell phone business online. Anyways, back in January - for shits and giggles I thought I\'d go ahead and check into the whole Adwords and Adsense gigs. A friend of mine insisted that I do so, as she was earning over 2k per month off of Google, from a website that I kept telling her she needed to \"re-think\". I was certain she\'d never make a sale. Well, sure proved me wrong. She wasn\'t earning much money off her \"product\", but she was bringing in enough from her Adsense ads to cover her, what I thought was, nonsense website.
So, I took about 45 minutes, set up a website. I copied and pasted 5 articles from ezinearticles.com as my content. Set up the Google Adsense ads and then left it alone. I didn\'t have time to set up any kind of a small advertising piece or otherwise. A month later I got a check in the mail from Google for just over $160.00. Not bad considering my webhosting was $9.99 per month for this quick test set up site and it took me less than an hour to pull together and publish. And I advertised ZERO.
Its now May and I\'ve yet to dabble in the Adsense thing again until now. I\'ve decided to take some time and put in some kind of real effort into it to see what I can do with it.
Google provides all the info and extensive and then some instructions for those who have time to \"read\". Not me, I browse and try and pick out key things. I assume most do the same.
My ad placement: I put the 5 line ad 728 at the top of my page, used the four text/image option within my text article, 5 text ad placement on right and 2 ads lower 468 horizontal at the bottom.
Am I allowed to give the link to my website so you can view and see what I mean? Happy to do so if I\'m allowed. I love this set up. Quick, fast, simply - easy.
