w3IDE NexGen Edition - Building a Better Web

BanPro NET [Bannon Productions - www.w3ide.com] announced on Monday, March 21, 2005 the release of w3IDE NexGen Edition.

This is a major upgrade to the w3IDE (World Wide Web Integrated Development Environment) software title. Scott Bannon, owner of BanPro NET stated that the development on this upgrade had focused on adding new and improved features, a faster and more reliable overall performance and creating a GUI (graphical user interface) that was both familiar and unique in it's design for Windows/PC software users. "The majority of software on the market conforms to certain common design and function standards. We decided to push the envelope with w3IDE and create a work environment that was unique without being confusing to the user."

An interesting and exciting side-note is that BanPro NET has also continued to go against the grain of traditional software selling by making their software licensing "one-time-only" purchases with free updates and upgrades for life. No license renewal fees ever.

BanPro NET first announced their "free upgrades forever" policy with the public release of the educational title "Fun 21 Trivia" in 2001, claiming that they felt users who registered their software were supporting the development of future versions and titles, so deserved to be rewarded for their support rather than exploited by costly upgrade fees.

While this approach may not be traditional it certainly seems to work for BanPro NET as they're still around and delivering useful titles four years later.
